We get some wonderful thank you letters following the event so we’d like to share them with you.
Just wanted to say, you did a brilliant job of organising it and everyone who helped was so supportive despite the rain and cold. Our second year and supposedly our last but we now have to defend our title it seems so we’ll be back!
I was really impressed with your choice of children’s charities and we’re aiming to raise even more money for next year….thanks again for all the encouraging smiles

Dear Organisers ,
This is just to say a huge thank you for all the work and support over the weekend. It is the first time I have been involved in the Kilworth challenge and I had the best time. I couldn’t have enjoyed it more and a lot of the fun came from the unfailing support from all the marshals and organisers along the way.
Lots of smiles, quite a few clues and even some biscuits. At the prizegiving it was mentioned how one of the founding aims was to give people the opportunity to take part in outward bound type activities. As one of the older competitors I never expected to have the chance to do any of the stuff we did and it gave me so much pleasure.
I am thrilled that you have passed the million pound mark and even if I never get to compete again I certainly hope to be involved in the fund raising when my friends do.
Thank you again so much
The Mud Bunnies
Over a few (too many) beers several months ago I agreed to join forces with family members to make up a team (the good the bad and the ugly)for the Kilworth Challenge without knowing what I was signing up for.
Resting at home (after several long hot baths) back in Bristol I’m now reflecting on a memorable weekend. I was staggered at the level of effort, ingenuity, enthusiasm community spirit and overwhelming friendliness.
Please pass my thanks and praise to each and every person involved in making it one of the most exhausting yet exhilarating weekends I have experienced.
Congratulations to you all, and for reaching an incredible £1 million target – staggering, and clear to see what it meant to you all.
I hope to be back in 2013 to improve on our creditable mid placed position as KC virgins.
Now I know what lies ahead training should start early in the new year I think!
The good the bad and the ugly
Massive congratulations to you and all the team on reaching the magic £1 million figure – an incredibly magnificent achievement.
Thank you for another amazing year and some amazing events which we all really enjoyed and thank you also for finding us an excellent substitute at the last minute.

Hi Paul and the organising committee,
Just want to say a big thank you on behalf of team 20, Canoe Run Can I Walk.
We had another superb weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it – seeing the KC pass the £1million mark made the terrible weather a distant memory.
Thanks again, hope you enjoy a well earned break.
